Alcina, wood-effect trompe-l'œil opera set

For Alcina, staged at the Opéra de Lille in October 2026, the walls of the set are a wood-effect trompe-l'œil: a printed grain that gives the stage a warm, continuous veneer, set against a pale lilac platform and a suspended light tube.

The wood pattern was created for the set, and print files were prepared for the costumes.
